Rosie Takes on Hot Topics

As a former co-host of The View, Rosie O'Donnell is accustomed to sharing her opinions on trending topics. So, when the SMILF actress stopped by Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on November 9, Andy Cohen was eager to get her take on issues ranging from pop culture to the recent revelations of sexual assault in Hollywood.

How to Watch

In a game called "Through Rosie Colored Glasses," Andy asked O'Donnell to share her takes on hot topics. Some quick takeaways: the comedian can't wait to see The Lion King's live-action remake — "I'm thrilled! Hakuna Matata," she said — but she's less stoked about American Idol's comeback after being off the air for two years. ("I had no idea it was canceled," the comedian confided.)

When Andy asked whether new View co-host Meghan McCain, who has — gasp! — shushed Whoppie Goldberg, is a fit for the show, O'Donnell replied: "I don't advise shushing Whoopie."

Andy also asked for his guest's take on the rumors that Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Kim Kardashian are expecting babies. O'Donnell took the opportunity to ask the Kardashian sisters for a favor, and pleaded with them while looking directly into the camera. Take a peek at her surprising ask in the clip above.

When it came to the more serious topic of the allegations against Harvey Weinstein and other Hollywood power players, O'Donnell reminded viewers that sexual assault isn't relegated to Hollywood. "It's all over the world; it's every industry," she said. "This is just a culture of misogyny and patriarchy, and also it's a country of racism. We have to look at the shadow of who we are, and where we are now, and how do we make all these things work better."
