The Married to Medicine cast member recently shared that her son, Michael, is kicking off his college career at Lee University in Tennessee. In an August 14 Instagram, Dr. Simone posted a family photo as she saw her son off to college. 

“We are loving @leeuniversity!!!” Dr. Simone wrote. “Great campus and positive vibes for my baby!” 

Dr. Simone’s fellow Married to Medicine cast member, Toya Bush-Harris, wished Michael the best of luck in the comment section, writing, “We miss him already!!! Prayers up...Many more blessings on the way.” 

The proud mother has previously confirmed that Michael will continue to pursue his basketball career at Lee, playing for the school’s team, the Lee Flames. Michael graduated from high school in a socially distanced commencement ceremony in July, which Dr. Simone described as overwhelming. 

“Overwhelmed as my baby @michaelwhitmoree is graduating from high school in a year we will NEVER forget! #2020 Big things to come!” she wrote in an Instagram post. In an another post, Dr. Simone shared two photos of Michael at a restaurant after the ceremony, to prove which parent he looks more like. 

“I think my baby @michaelwhitmoree looks just like me!” Dr. Simone wrote alongside a photo of Michael proudly rocking his red graduation cap. “Not @cecilwhit.” 

She later added, "Missing my baby @michaelwhitmoree & excited he’s still taking my calls!"
