You've probably heard of the 2012 hit documentary, The Queen of Versailles which follows the Siegels and their quest to build the biggest house (read: mansion) in the United States of America. David Siegel is the owner of Westgate Resorts which is the largest privately owned timeshare in the world. David and his wife, Jackie Siegel AKA "The Queen of Versailles" were moving forward with building their ultimate dream home, when things suddenly crashed down as a result of the 2008 recession. Construction was put on pause for a number of years while the Siegels got back on their feet. Fast forward to 2017 when The Real Housewives of Miami's Lea Black connects Jackie with Jeff Lewis. Now that the outside of the house is done, Jackie needs help decorating their large estate, which is where Jeff comes in. 1. She Was a Computer Engineer!
Jackie is originally from Binghamton, NY and worked for IBM out of college after graduating with a computer engineering degree.
2. Making Dreams Come True in NYC
After realizing she wanted more than just to sit in a cubicle all day long, she packed her bags and moved to NYC and started modeling.
3. Mrs. Florida
Eventually Jackie married her first husband and moved to Florida where she started competing in beauty pageants and won the title of "Mrs. Florida".
4. Mrs. David Siegel
After Jackie and her first husband divorced she met David at a party and even though it "took a while to fall in love with him" she said it "felt good to be so adored."
5. Age Ain't Nothing But a Number
There is a 30 year age difference between the Siegels.

David and Jackie had eight children within the span of nine years!
7. Tragedy
According to People.com, in 2015 Jackie and David's 18-year-old daughter, Victoria Siegel died from “acute methadone and sertraline toxicity”.

In the documentary, David describes Jackie as "a good mother" who has "a good heart".
9. The Inspiration Behind Versailles
David and Jackie drew their inspiration for their palace after visiting both Versailles in France and the Paris hotel in Las Vegas.
