Fans of The Real Housewives of New Jersey famously keep hope alive that Dolores Catania will one day rekindle her romance with ex-husband Frank Catania. But what has it been like for their son, Frankie Catania, to see all that chatter about his parents?

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 premiere May 5th at 8/9c on Bravo and stream next day on Peacock.

Frankie addressed just that when he appeared with several of his fellow kids of The Real Housewives during the May 9 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen as the grand finale to the A-May-Zing Bravo Party Week. "I don't blame them, honestly," Frankie told Andy Cohen about fans expressing their hope for his parents to get back together (clip above). "Even when I'm around them, it's so exciting to see what a great relationship they have."

But as quickly as Frankie warmed our hearts with that response, he may have crushed fans' dreams even faster, confirming that he doesn't ever see his parents having a romantic relationship again in the future. "But you have to be in it to know that's really not a possibility," he said.

Frank made jaws drop last week when he shared his reaction to the psychic telling Dolores that her boyfriend, David Principe, is not her soul mate earlier this season of RHONJ. "Listen, I'm Dolores' soul mate," Frank said during his May 5 appearance on WWHL. "Even though we're not romantically involved, I'm still her soul mate."

Though Dolores previously said on WWHL in March that she doesn't "believe in all this soul mate stuff," she couldn't deny Frank's most recent claim. "Safe to say I agree with him. You know a soulmate I don't think has to be an intimate relationship,” Dolores said of Frank's comments during an interview with E! News. “A soulmate can be a dog, a soulmate can be a child or a best friend and Frank is definitely my soulmate in the fact that I've done past life things and it says me and Frank have been bonded for a long time together, so I could see that. I don't deny that. It's OK, you know?"

As for Dolores' current beau, David, Frankie said during the WWHL After Show (clip below) that he actually sees the two tying the knot in the future. "Honestly, yes. I've spent a lot of time with David, especially living in his house this summer when I was studying for the GMAT," he shared. "And you speak to him at night, and you hear some things that nobody hears."
