Garcelle Beauvais loves trying new things on the fashion and beauty front, especially when it comes to her hair.
Over the past few years, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member has rocked various colors and styles, from a curly lob and then a cobalt blue lob at different times in 2020 to a lighter brunette style in 2021, Garcelle is no stranger to a shifting hue.
The same was true for the California mom in January 2023 when she took on a whole new color: a deep auburn red. “New year New me!” Garcelle captioned an Instagram video at the time, showing off the gorgeous hue.

On February 6, Garcelle took to her Instagram page to share a video edited with different photos of herself rocking both red and black hair. In the caption, she prompted her followers to give her some advice: "Which one… stay Red hair or go back to Black??" she inquired.
Honestly, we couldn't decide, considering how both hues look beautiful on Garcelle!

In addition to Garcelle's followers giving their take, numerous Bravolebs also provided their opinions on the matter, with Below Deck's Kate Chastain, The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Melissa Gorga, The Real Housewives of Miami's Guerdy Abraira, and The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Sanya Richards-Ross all opting for "red" for the Coming to America actress.
The Real Housewives of Orange County's Heather Dubrow was team black, writing, "You look good with any color hair !!!! I think the black though - chic."

While we're still up in the air about which new hair route Garcelle should take, we do love her red hair — especially considering how it pairs so perfectly with certain styles.
Take Garcelle's look for the 75th Annual Emmy Awards held in Los Angeles, California, for example, where the actress co-hosted the Emmys after party from E! along with E! News host Justin Sylvester.
For the occasion, Garcelle donned a strapless mermaid gown from Badgley Mischka ($990) that featured a large feather fan centerpiece on the bodice.
In addition to being exquisitely styled by Roberto Cardenaz in the head-turning gown, the look was perfectly pulled together by Garcelle's hairstylist Abena Frane with a sexy-messy updo. Moreover, that deep red hair color was absolutely stunning with the chic black gown.
