Gigi Hadid and RuPaul's Drive Around L.A. Will Make You Wish You Looked That Good in Traffic

Who knew the fashionistas were such good friends?

By Laura Rosenfeld

Gigi Hadid may have just landed her first cover of American Vogue, but that doesn't mean this supermodel still doesn't have more to learn from those who have slayed the fashion game before her. And Gigi seeks sartorial guidance from someone whose influence has left and continues to leave a mark on the fashion world: RuPaul.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Bravo Tuesdays at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

And we definitely don't blame Gigi for seeking advice from RuPaul. He is the "Supermodel of the World," who has dazzled us in and out of drag for decades, after all. Plus, we could totally see Ru and Gigi's chemistry when she appeared as a Snatch Game contestant on RuPaul's Drag Race last season.

RuPaul has slayed the fashion game for decades.

While taking a victory lap around Los Angeles in celebration of landing the cover of American Vogue, Gigi ran into RuPaul, a.k.a. her "supermodel mentor," in a new video on Vogue.com. He had some advice on how to avoid the paparazzi as the two cruised around town. "You know what the best thing to do for a disguise is those medical masks," he suggested.

But this is some wisdom that Gigi may leave rather than take. "I'll try," she told RuPaul. "You're gonna see a picture of me next week. They're gonna be like, 'Gigi, deathly ill.' I'll be like, 'No, RuPaul just told me I could get away with this.'"

Look out for more stylish cameos from legendary fashion photographer Mario Testino, who shot Gigi's Vogue cover, and her half-sister Alana Hadid. But Gigi even takes on L.A. fabulously all on her own, whether it's running into a TMZ Celebrity Tour bus, strutting her stuff on the street, or even hitting up the drive-thru of In-N-Out Burger sans car.

We didn't think it was possible, but we want to hang out with Gigi even more now.

See what makes Gigi qualified to hang with the best of the best in the fashion industry, below.
