Here's the Real Story of How Kenya Moore Ended up in Greece with the Atlanta Housewives

Following the announcement that she and her husband, Marc Daly, had decided to divorce, Kenya Moore wasn't sure if she would still be attending the girls' trip to Greece she had organized with Kandi Burruss. Even as The Real Housewives of Atlanta ladies gathered at the airport for their flight to Greece in the March 8 episode, it was unclear if Kenya would actually be joining them.

But wouldn't you know it, Kenya eventually twirled her way to the plane and surprised her fellow Georgia Peaches when they all landed in Greece. "I wasn't going to come. I did not want to be asked questions about my marriage. But eventually, I reminded myself that I have the love of my life by my side," Kenya explained in an interview during the episode. "So I booked [my daughter] Brooklyn, myself, and the nanny a direct flight. So I arrived actually at the same time as everyone else. Surprise, I guess."

It really was a surprise for the RHOA crew. "Well, what happened was she wasn't there at the airport. So we were all like, 'Is she coming?'" Tanya Sam described the mood before they boarded the plane to Greece during The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 12 After Show, which you can view, above. "We didn't know."

Well, Nene Leakes said during the After Show that she actually wasn't all that shocked that Kenya decided to go on the trip, after all. Marlo Hampton also had a theory as to why Kenya didn't fly over to Greece with the ladies — and it has nothing to do with her personal life. Sip up this piping hot tea in the above clip.

Once Kenya joined everyone else in Greece, it was almost like nothing out of the ordinary had happened, according to Porsha Williams. "She was just regular Kenya and it was, 'Let's have a good time, guys. I want to enjoy the day,'" Porsha said during the After Show.

And Kenya was committed to keeping things as normal as possible during the vacay, even if she had a feeling that wouldn't actually happen. "We did start the trip out with fun, and I thought, 'OK, this could be OK,'" she said during the After Show. "But in the back of my mind and what I told Cynthia [Bailey] and Kandi, I just know that those girls are waiting to find a moment where I'm most vulnerable and hit me with all they have regarding Marc. I think that everyone was very supportive initially. But look, I knew it was coming."
