Jax took to his Instagram Story this week where he continued to give some insight into how they're navigating their new relationship status. He first took a video of himself at a storage unit where he revealed that he was in the process of helping Brittany get her Halloween decorations out, so she could decorate her Valley Village home

"Well, it's September, and you know what that means," Jax said in the Instagram Story posted earlier this week. "It's time to get Brittany's Halloween decorations out. Never ends," he joked, shaking his head.

After getting Brittany's Halloween decorations together, Jax was rewarded with a homecooked meal, baked in a casserole dish. Although Jax has his own kitchen in his new townhouse (more on that later), he revealed that he would never turn down a homemade meal.

"I will always squeeze in a homecooked meal when I am offered one," he wrote over the photo. "Thanks Brittany."

Brittany Cartwright Shares an Update on Her House and Storage Unit

Brittany took to the When Reality Hits podcast on Friday, August 20, where she revealed why Jax was helping her at the storage unit. "The truth is, we let go of our storage unit," she explained. "So we had to bring everything from the storage unit to the house. So it wasn't just the Halloween decorations, it was everything," she explained.

Luckily, all of her Halloween decorations are now at her home, so she won't have to transport them back and forth every year. "I've got so much space at the house and in the garage now, so I was like, why don't we just put everything from the storage unit — because it's all my decorations, it's baby stuff, extra pieces of furniture that I own...I was like, 'I don't need a storage unit anymore. Let's just put it in the garage,'" she said.

Details on Jax Taylor's New House

During a September 13 episode of When Reality Hits, Jax explained that he had moved into his new house — a townhouse in the same neighborhood Vanderpump Rules' Tom Schwartz — earlier this month. Brittany had been previously staying in an AirBnb until Jax had moved into his new place close to his BFF.

"I thought it was a good move for me to get my own place, because it wasn't fair for Brittany to keep getting these AirBnbs, and she wasn't sure where she was going to go," he explained. "Plus, I didn't want my son to be bouncing around to all these places. It didn't seem right. They weren't his home. It wasn't his house. It wasn't his pool. It wasn't his bedroom."

Jax is now very happy to be in his new place, which he said was "absolutely beautiful, brand new, very secure, updated, remodeled, [and] super safe for Cruz." "I'm really happy here," he continued. "And I honestly can't wait for Brittany to see this place. I know it's going to take time for her to come here, but I really can't wait for her to see it."
