If you've ever wondered how Kandi Burruss became the woman she is today, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star is ready to tell all.
The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter will lead a female-empowerment panel this April in Atlanta. Titled "Kandi Burruss Presents Empower: The Businesswoman Masterclass," Kandi has enlisted the help of other successful women to offer their insights for those looking for the advice they need to take their lives and careers to the next level. She will be joined by women from all sorts of fields, including Mona Scott-Young, Dr. Kim, Andra Hall, Brandi Hunter and Myleik Teele.
"I decided that I wanted to put together a panel of powerful women," she shared on Instagram. "Women who actually had dreams & or ideas & made them happen! I plan to take a portion of the proceeds & invest in the business of one of the people who attend my class!"
The event is slated for April 11 and will give attendees "life changing lessons from industry leading businesswomen."
Of course Kandi is all about motivating her fans. She offers up words of wisdom via her Kandi Koated Motivations, which she posts to social media
"Whenever I go thru tough or tragic situations I refuse to allow myself to stay in a 'whoa is me' place," she shared on social media after announcing the news. "The world keeps moving around you while you sit there asking 'why me.' So I say a prayer & then I keep pushing forward. Sometimes we have to hype ourselves up & remind ourselves that we're stronger than we think! #HopeThisHelpsSomebody."
