Ramona Singer Shuts Down Rumors She's Romantically Linked to a Headline-Grabbing Guy

Ramona Singer is setting the record straight on a recent report that she was spotted out and about on a romantic evening with Andrew Catapano.

The Real Housewives of New York City entrepreneur told Page Six that she and Catapano are just friends. “He’s a family friend. Close to me, [daughter] Avery and [ex-husband] Mario," she confirmed to Page Six. "Not a date. Lol.”

Ramona added that she's “known him for 24 years." “He’s like a brother," she said of Catapano.

Catapano, a contractor, grabbed headlines about a decade ago for his high-profile divorce, as well as his fraud trial, which resulted in a 10-month prison sentence for conspiracy to commit fraud in connection with several area construction projects.
