James Kennedy Says He Has an Idea of How He Wants to Propose to Ally Lewber
The Vanderpump Rules DJ said he's more than ready to tie the knot: "I would marry her tonight!"
James Kennedy is ready to get hitched.
In the years since he started dating Ally Lewber, the Vanderpump Rules cast member has been constantly questioned about the next steps of his relationship. James addressed the engagement inquiries during a BravoCon 2023 event, saying he was confident that he and Ally would tie the knot someday.
“It’s been an amazing year, you know,” he said during the Vanderpump Rules panel. “Obviously, I love Ally more than anything, and I see [marriage] in our future. But, again, we’re not rushing anything. It’s been an amazing year… I’m over the moon. I haven’t been this filled with joy in so long. I love our little family and our little house in Burbank, and everything is just sweet.”
Ally made it clear she and James were on the same page as she was in no hurry to get married.
“James bought a house this year. We’re now doggy parents, so yeah, things are going great,” she said on the panel. “I don’t think we’re in a huge rush for that. We’re really content with where we’re at… We’re good.”
James Kennedy says he "would marry [Ally Lewber] tonight!"
The Bravo couple reiterated their position during a premiere event for Vanderpump Rules Season 11. James said he and Ally regularly discuss marriage and he even has an idea of how he’ll pop the question.
“We’re always talking about fun fantasies in the future, stuff like that,” the DJ told The Messenger before describing a possible proposal. “I want to do it up big and special for Ally and when we choose to do that… You know, I would marry her tonight! I'll marry her tonight! But, like, what’s the rush? What’s the bloody rush?”
James Kennedy and Ally Lewber's New Burbank Home
Since confirming their status in early 2022, James and Ally have taken several huge steps in their relationship, most notably their decision to relocate from Los Angeles to the Valley. James announced the move less than a year ago, shortly after he purchased his first-ever “dream” home.
“I actually just bought a house… James Kennedy’s a homeowner,” he said during the Peacock-exclusive episode of Vanderpump Rules: Pumped Up Edition.
The UK native said the move had “been a long time coming” and he was excited about his new chapter with Ally.
“It’s a three-bedroom, like, little gray home. It’s got a pool in the back. It’s got a dream studio,” he said about the Burbank property. “Ally Bally is bringing the cats. We’re all gonna live together!”
