Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright Confirm They're Expecting a Baby: "Coming Soon"
The couple confirmed they are expecting their first child.
Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are officially going to be parents. The couple confirmed they are expecting their first child on Instagram on September 21 with a set of photos -- that included them proudly showing off a sonogram.
"Mom & Dad. The love of our lives is coming soon," Brittany shared on Instagram, with Jax adding, "Sooooo, I am gonna be Dad."
The happy news for the couple comes a little over a year after they married in June 2019 in a lavish ceremony in Kentucky, which was featured on Vanderpump Rules. The confirmation of the baby news also comes several months after Jax and Brittany talked about the possibility of growing their family on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in the spring.
During the March appearance on WWHL, Brittany confirmed she wasn't yet pregnant ("Obviously, I'm drinking shots, so not pregnant"), and Jax discussed what it might be like to become pregnant and have a child during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
"Obviously with this whole virus thing, I didn't know what the situation [is]," Jax said earlier this year. "I'm so scared of she gets pregnant and what if we need to go to a hospital ... I think the worst."
Still, the couple have always been quite vocal about wanting to have kids, noting in late 2019 they were both "excited" at the prospect of parenthood.
