Is Jax Taylor Expanding His Bar Empire? Details on His Latest Career Move
The Valley cast member hinted at his next big business move.
The Valley’s Jax Taylor is growing his bar and restaurant business.
During a recent chat with Us Weekly, the Jax's Studio City bar owner revealed, "We're about to open another [bar]," and declared, "[I'm] very excited about that."
Although Jax didn't go into more detail about the entrepreneurial venture, back in May, he spoke with The Daily Dish about what he was planning for his next business after opening his L.A. sports bar.
When the former SUR-ver was asked about Jax's Studio City (with “three partners footing the bill”), he started by noting how business was going "very, very well," and then touched on how he planned to expand.
“We’re opening, actually, two more locations — one in California and one is out of state,” Jax explained. “I can’t say exactly where, but yeah. We’re really excited.”
Jax originally worked on the establishment with his now-estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, but it is currently unknown if Brittany will be involved in any future endeavors. Moreover, Jax didn't disclose if his investors in the Studio City location will have any stake in the additional locations.
How Lisa Vanderpump Is Inspiring Jax Taylor's Bar Business
Elsewhere in Jax's conversation with The Daily Dish, he discussed the idea of having a business like SUR, with a Vanderpump Rules-like concept Jax once participated in as a bartender.
The California dad confessed it "would be great" to have a central hub similar to the businesses of his former boss and Vanderpump Rules matriarch, Lisa Vanderpump.
“I hope The Valley can follow more of Jax’s Studio City,” Jax said. “I mean, that’s kind of the dream, right? I could be the next Lisa Vanderpump.”
All the same, focusing on the success of his Studio City location is the most front-of-mind concern for Jax at the moment.
“It’s doing so well, and I’m so happy for the bar; I’m so happy for the employees. Everyone is having a good time,” he shared. “It’s a dream come true to have a bar, especially a sports bar, ’cause I’m such a sports guy, so yeah. It’s doing really well. We’re happy about it.”
