When we left Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright in the season finale of Vanderpump Rules Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky, Brittany decided to stay behind in her home state while Jax headed back to L.A. after the trip had taken a turn for the dramatic. The couple clearly needed to take a breather from one another after some of the complexities of the issues in their relationship came to light.

And now fans might be wondering where things stand between the couple. Well, we got the scoop from Jax himself. "We're still happy and we're still together," he shared with The Daily Dish, revealing more about their current status in the video above. "When she came home it was kind of like [we can] start fresh, clean slate, start over."

After the couple reunited in the City of Angels, Jax shared if anything had changed between them following their extended stay on Brittany's family farm.

"I don't know if it really changed it much. You know, I'm a very easy person. I'll try anything once," he said. "I went out to her farm. I worked on her farm. I went to church. They asked me to do anything [and] I'll do it. I donated money to her family. I don't know what else I could have done. So as far as, did [it] change anything — I don't know. I don't think it really changed much. We argued. We fought a little bit. I guess that's normal. That's a relationship, I guess."
