Vanderpump Rules Producers Reveal the "Most Baffling" Moment of Season 8

Another season of Vanderpump Rules has come to an end, but we'll never forget everything that went down in Season 8, from Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright's wedding to Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney-Schwartz's for real wedding to Beau Clark's proposal to Stassi Schroeder. But there's one moment in particular that really had the producers of Vanderpump Rules shook.

It was revealed during an enhanced version of the May 19 episode that aired on May 26 that Jax's angry texts to Max Boyens about his beach cleanup "rattled producers the most this year." “That was probably most baffling, since Max was genuinely trying to do a good deed," producers said.

As we saw in that moment and over the years on Vanderpump Rules, Jax is "very transparent" with his feelings, according to producers. “He says what’s on his mind and doesn’t beat around the bush," they said.

Vanderpump Rules producers also noted that it was difficult to watch the fallout among the Witches of WeHo (Stassi, Katie, and Kristen Doute) this season (more on their drama in the Vanderpump Rules Season 8 After Show, above). “They go so far back and their friendship has survived a lot," producers said.

The producers said that they were happy to see how much some of the SURvers had grown this year, sharing that they were "impressed" with the "confidence" Raquel Leviss exhibited this season, as well as how Ariana Madix opened up about her mental health struggles. “It’s a very important topic but also one that’s hard to talk about," producers said.
