Jax Taylor Will Officially Meet Brittany's Parents Over the Holidays

Virginia might be for lovers, but this holiday season, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright have headed to Kentucky. Yes, this Vanderpump Rules SURver has left the big city behind for a taste of the simple life with his lady love. And while he had some reservations about how he'd fare on a farm before heading out ("It's kind of like, remember Pauly Shore in Son in Law?" Jax joked to The Daily Dishearlier this week), it sounds like he's been adjusting just fine. "I had so much fun showing@mrjaxtaylor the farm today!" Brittany wrote on Instagram. "It means so much that he came to Kentucky to be with me and my family during this tough time and being here through the holidays." (Brittany recently revealed that she lost her grandfather.)

But there's even bigger news to come out of the trip: Jax will finally meet Brittany's mom and dad in Kentucky. "I have never met her family. She's met mine, a couple times. This is the first time I'm making the trek out there," he said. 

Christmas is one week away, but Jax and Brittany got an early start and already exchanged gifts. "She wanted a puppy and I made it very clear that she is the sole responsible [person], but so far I've been, of course, loving the dog," Jax said of their pooch, Kingsley. "And so the deal was if she gets a dog, I got a fish tank 'cause I really wanted a fish tank. So, she got me a huge fish tank. It's just freshwater, but it's huge. I've always wanted a fish tank. I know it sounds silly [but] I just always wanted a fish tank. I think it's just a relaxing thing. We're so adulting."
