Jeff Lewis Shares an Update on His Health After Undergoing Second Surgery
The Flipping Out designer was diagnosed with a spinal cord condition in August.
After getting neck surgery for a spinal cord condition earlier this year, Jeff Lewis is now recovering from another surgical operation. The Flipping Out dad took to Instagram to offer an update on his health after undergoing a second procedure on Wednesday, December 17.
The day after the surgery, Jeff shared a post-op photo from the hospital. In the picture, the designer can be seen lying on a hospital bed, with a sheet covering his face and most of his body. “My surgery was a success! I’ve never felt better. Thanks for giving a s—t,” he wrote in the caption.
Earlier in the week, Jeff shared details about the pending surgery on his SiriusXM radio show, Jeff Lewis Live. “I have to do this surgery. I cannot wait,” he said in the December 16 episode, according to People, also revealing that he had a “pinched nerve” and an issue with discs that reportedly made it difficult to walk.
Several Bravolebs couldn’t help but chime in on the photo. “Wow you’ve never looked better,” RHOC alum Tamra Judge joked in the comments, while Shannon Beador wrote, “Where is your face??? This picture is scary. But I am so happy your surgery was a success!”
Jeff was diagnosed with cervical myelopathy, a condition that results from compression of the spinal cord in the neck, back in August. After undergoing neck surgery that same month, Jeff's friend and frequent radio show guest, Krista Llamas, reported on how the designer was doing.
"Happy to report our beloved @jljefflewis is alive and well. Just FaceTimed him and what’s even better is that his sense of humor is still there if not stronger," she wrote on Instagram at the time. "He wanted me to thank you all for all the love and support."
