Jennifer Aydin Addresses Being a Stay-at-Home Mom with Help: "I'm a Single Parent Most of the Time"
The RHONJ mom-of-five opens up about criticism she's received about her career history.
On The Real Housewives of New Jersey this season, that talk around Jennifer Aydin's life as a stay-at-home mom has become quite heated, as seen in the February 19 episode of RHONJ.
Margaret Josephs and Jennifer faced off over her lifestyle, and in The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 10 After Show, Jennifer defended her decision to work full-time as a mom, and not have a career outside the home.
"Even when this show came to my doorstep, one of the reasons he didn't want me to do it is because [he said], 'Your job, in my book, is to take care of our family. I kill myself and I work these crazy hours, so that you can be the only one watching our kids,'" she said of earlier discussions with husband Bill Aydin, before breaking down the help she receives at home from her nanny and babysitter with caring for her five kids. She noted that because Bill works so much as a plastic surgeon, "I'm a single parent most of the time."
From there, in the clip above, the ladies and their husbands shared their thoughts on Jennifer's life.
