Why Jennifer Pedranti Says Blending Her and Ryan’s Families Is “Not Easy” (EXCLUSIVE)
The RHOC cast member opened up to BravoTV.com about what family life is like with her new fiancé, Ryan Boyajian.
A lot has happened in Jennifer Pedranti's life and fans are getting an inside look at it during The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18.
The mom of five had to move out of her rented home after being evicted in the Season 18 premiere and into a home with her boyfriend (now fiancé), Ryan Boyajian, in a very short period of time. In a July interview with BravoTV.com, Jennifer elaborated on how moving in with Ryan wasn't easy for her and the kids, especially since Ryan is the dad to two kids himself.
"It was an adjustment," she explained.
"Blending families is not easy," she continued. "And Ryan and I were together going on four years now. But, you move in with someone, and you think you know how they parent, and then you realize you parent very different. So, there is an adjustment period, we definitely went through an adjustment period."
However, the strength of her relationship with Ryan has carried them through tough times.
"He is my best friend, truly," she explained. "There is nothing about that man that I don't know, there's nothing about me he doesn't know. We see all sides of each other, the good, the bad, and the ugly."
Now, things are "amazing" between them. "I wish people knew them the way my kids do," she added. "He is a gift, for sure."
Where do Jennifer Pedranti and her ex-husband, Will Pedranti, stand today?
And it's been just as hard for her to co-parent with her ex-husband, Will Pedranti. "Co-parenting with my ex is non-existent," she said. "It's truly non-existent, and I'm never going to stop trying to change that."
Where does Jennifer Pedranti live today?
During her chat with BravoTV.com, Jennifer revealed that they "still live with Ryan" and she has no plans to leave Orange County. "I would be so grateful to stay in the OC long term," she said. "I love it."
Although Jennifer said that she needs to get "a little bit more established right now," she would love to invest in some other homes in the future. "Who wouldn't want to?" she asked, adding that she would want to buy a home in Oklahoma since her "whole world" is there.
"It would be so fun to go home and have a spot," she noted, pointing out that her and Ryan also love Scottsdale, Arizona, and the Bahamas (which is where they got engaged). "I could pick a place anywhere."
