Jill Zarin Is Still Having Some Housewives-Worthy Drama with Ramona Singer
The #RHONY alum says the "gloves are off" when it comes to her frenemy.
Jill Zarin may be a Real Housewives of New York City alum (although, she will be making an appearance this season, which we can't wait for), but you wouldn't know it from all of the drama she's been having with Ramona Singer lately.
The RHONY alum dished all about her current beef with Ramona during a recent taping of the podcast Juicy Scoop with Heather McDonald in Nashville. "Ramona and I will always be, unfortunately, connected, because socially, we share a lot of friends. Although, I say to my friends, 'Why are you friends with her?' But I'm tired of fighting that battle," Jill told Heather McDonald. "The truth is it's like a love-hate relationship with this woman."
Jill went on to say that "when Ramona wants something from me, I fall for it every time." So when Jill was planning her annual party in the Hamptons last summer, which includes many celebs on the guest list (including Housewives from all over the country), Ramona asked if she could be invited. Jill said she invited her and her daughter, Avery Singer, to come along. "Would you believe this? She emails me the night before and says, 'Since you said I could bring my daughter, she can't come, but I want to bring these other two people whose house I'm staying in, and if I can't bring them, I'm not coming,'" Jill said. "First of all, I never invited you. You invited yourself. Second of all, I happen to really like the two people you're staying with, and that was a miss on my part. So yes, you can bring them, but not because you're subbing them for your daughter. I invited your daughter because I invited your daughter."
After the party, Jill said that she also received an email from Ramona where she complained that she didn't receive the correct gift bag. But when the two ran into each other after that, they were all good, according to Jill, even when the RHONY alum found out that she hadn't been invited to Ramona's famous birthday luncheon in November. "I do nothing, and the winter goes by," Jill explained. "Now the show starts. And I'm good with Ramona. I don't want to start with Ramona. I don't want to fight with Ramona. We're all good. We say hello. We kiss hello. It's all fake and phony, and it's all good. Then the show starts, and I guess people heard that I'm doing a cameo this season."
Jill said that she thinks Ramona wasn't happy about that because she "felt like I stole thunder away from the cast." Ramona said during an interview on Jenny McCarthy's SiriusXM radio show earlier this month that she thinks Jill is "desperate to be on the show again." "And I was like, 'You f***ing bitch. You did not say that.' First of all, she happens to know what I've been going through this winter with Bobby [Jill's husband, who continues his battle with cancer]. I mean, you saw Bobby. It's been a rough winter. Dying to get back on the show? No. Wanting to do a cameo? Yes. I did do it," Jill said. "So instead of her being nice and saying, 'Oh, we're so glad Jill came back to do a scene or something,' that's what she says. So now, gloves are off. I'm done being nice, and no, she will not be at my party this summer. She's not being invited."
Of course, there's been a lot of drama surrounding who is and isn't invited to Carole Radziwill's election night party this season of RHONY. Relive the Ramotional moment, below.
