Jim, who is the ex-husband of The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Meghan King Edmonds, shared the news of his test results in several videos in his Instagram Story on Wednesday, April 1. "Hey, y'all, what's up. I just wanted to drop a quick note. I appreciate everyone who has said well wishes and wished me the best. I did test positive for pneumonia, and I did get a test positive for the virus," Jim said. "I am completely symptom-free now and doing really well."

He went on to say that he believes he may have been infected with coronavirus "for a while" before he got tested and has been self-quarantining from the rest of his family during this time. "Thank god I quarantined myself and listened to what everyone said and kept our curve at my house flattened," Jim said. "My daughter has been tested. She is waiting for her results, but she is symptom-free. So we're all doing really well here."

Jim said that he is now "feeling great" after just resting to recover from the disease. Since sharing in his Instagram Story on March 31 that he has been "feeling better," Jim has been keeping busy in self-quarantine by cleaning out his garage and getting some sun.

Last weekend, Jim shared in his Instagram Story that he went to the emergency room after feeling "super sick." Following his release from the hospital that same day, Jim said that he had been diagnosed with pneumonia, which he had never experienced before, and that he was tested for coronavirus but was still awaiting the results.

In his latest Instagram Story update, Jim thanked fans for all of their support and hoped that they were also doing well. "Do not take this lightly. If you don't feel good, go to the doctor or go to the emergency room if you can't breathe because that's what happened to me. They didn't want to test me, and I forced them to take me to the emergency room, and lo and behold, pneumonia and the virus, so don't take it lightly," Jim said. "Take care of yourselves."

Jim's three children with Meghan (Aspen, 3, and twin boys Hart and Hayes, who turn 2 in June) have been staying with their mom as she self-quarantines in California. However, that has reportedly caused some drama between the exes as they continue to navigate co-parenting following their split in October.
