Joe Giudice Revealed Some Big Updates About His Life in Italy
The RHONJ ex-husband opened up about keeping in touch with his daughters and his dating life.
It's officially been one year since Joe Giudice settled into life in Italy following his release from an ICE facility (in May, his deportation appeal was denied). Weeks after moving to Italy, Joe was visited twice by his family; once in November with The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Teresa Giudice and their four daughters; and then again in December with just his daughters. And now we're learning more about how he's managing while away from his kids during an interview with Wendy Williams on her talk show recently.
He noted that he hasn't seen his four daughters Gia, 19, Gabriella, 16, Milania, 14, and Audriana, 11 in the 10 months since their last trip and said the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has made seeing his daughters not an option for the time being.
“We talk every day,” he said. “Milania was just gonna call me now. I was watching them play soccer yesterday through the phone. So, good thing for the phones. It’s better to be there in person, but what are you gonna do? Right now, I wouldn’t be able to come there anyway.”
In September, Teresa and Joe finalized their divorce after 20 years of marriage, The Daily Dish confirmed at the time. Joe told Wendy in his recent interview, “I’m actually seeing a lawyer. She’s helping out a lot out here, it’s good because I have a lot of things going on out here and she’s putting together a lot of deals for me. We’ve been seeing each other, you know what I mean? I wouldn’t say that we’re boyfriend, girlfriend, but we’re kind of like hanging out a lot.”
Giudice family attorney James J. Leonard Jr. told The Daily Dish at the time, “This is obviously the beginning of a new and exciting chapter for both Joe and Teresa as individuals. They remain committed to continuing to raise their four amazing daughters and co-parent as they have for the last few years.”
