By Allison Crist

Vanderpump RulesLala Kent opened up about her "feud" with Kristen Doute on the January 30 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and ultimately revealed that she had no desire to be friends with The Valley cast member.

Why are Lala Kent and Kristen Doute feuding?

To give the update on Lala and Kristen's feud some context, talk of trouble between the two began when Lala pretended not to know who Kristen was during an Amazon livestream earlier this month.

Kristen addressed this on her podcast a few weeks later, explaining she was "filled in" that the reason Lala's upset with her is because of an appearance at an event where Shahs of Sunset's Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi was also present. Lala and GG, as fans may recall, have a storied history themselves.

Josh Peck's Message for Lala Kent From Kristen Doute

Following her remarks about Kristen on WWHL, Lala appeared on the February 1 episode of Josh's Good Guys podcast, during which he explained, "[I told Kristen] you were coming on and she messaged me something if you want me to read it. I said, ‘I’m having Lala on the show today. Anything you wanted me to ask her?’"

Josh continued, going on to reveal what Kristen had apparently texted him: "She’s like, ‘Lala’s mad at me for whatever dumb reason. She told Brittany [Cartwright] that I’m dead to her for not yelling at this chick GG when GG said something negative about Lala and her parenting.'"

Upon hearing the remark at the time, Kristen said, "I just rolled my eyes. I was doing a live podcast on stage and I was pregnant." (Kristen previously shared that she had a miscarriage in November.)

Lala Kent's Response to Josh Peck's Message From Kristen Doute

Reacting to what Kristen had to say, Lala told Josh, "I am fine with people saying whatever they want about me. I’m so unaffected ... [but] Kristen Doute knows the ins and outs of what I deal with — things that nobody knows — and to watch her laugh about someone talk about me as a parent, who doesn’t know me at all, I will not stand for it."

Lala then expressed sympathy for Kristen's pregnancy loss. "I'm sorry, I know you were pregnant. I was very happy for you. I'm so sorry for your loss — I truly can't imagine," she said. "But still, you're not gonna laugh about someone coming for me as a parent."

Instead of laughing, Lala explained that she wished Kristen would have said to GG, "Respectfully, you have no idea what Lala has been through or what she deals with. I don’t think you should be speaking on this until you know the ins and outs."

Will Lala Kent and Kristen Doute ever be friends again?

Lala went on to note that while she's still upset with Kristen, she's not ruling out a reconciliation. As she put it, "I am a very intense person, so I’m like, ‘She’s dead to me. I’m good on you,' but I’m sure if she were to come to me now that I’ve calmed down a bit and say, 'I'm so sorry. I wish I would've done that. I apologize,' I'd be like, 'We're all good.'"

"I just don’t hold grudges," Lala concluded. "I wish I did, but I don’t."
