Kandi Burruss Confirms She's Welcoming a Daughter via Surrogate: Here's How Her Family Feels About It
RHOA's Kandi Burruss is updating us on her kids' lives as she's expecting a daughter via surrogate.
It's been a little while since we've seen all the ladies of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and their families. Luckily, Season 12 of RHOA is here — and with the new season approaching, Kandi Burruss decided it was time to give us some major life updates on her two kids, Ace Wells Tucker and Riley Burruss, and reveal what they're both up to these days. Oh, and she also shared how they're prepping for the birth of her third child, a little girl, via surrogate.
That's right, the Burruss-Tucker family is about to welcome another daughter to the mix, in addition to Riley and Todd Tucker's daughter, Kaela, from a previous relationship. Kandi confirmed she and Todd had moved forward with their plans to have a baby via surrogate during the RHOA Season 11 reunion, and said they would be transferring the remaining female embryos from IVF to their surrogate.
In the Season 12 premiere of RHOA, Kandi shared that the couple was expecting twins via surrogate, but only the one girl made it through the process.
And that brings us to the rest of her family. In this exclusive video, Kandi explains, "Ace was born during the time of me being on the show, and he is the joy of my life, my family. Everybody is crazy about Ace," adding, "His personality is so cool! He's so loving and so sweet."
Aside from having an amazing disposition, Kandi's toddler son is also hitting major milestones in terms of his education. She gushed, "He's so smart, OK! Ace is going to an international school where he's learning how to speak Mandarin... Not fluently yet, but he's saying a lot of words in Mandarin."
She even called her little boy a "3-year-old genius."
The future mom of three also mentioned some exciting news about her teenage daughter. Kandi revealed that Riley's year is going to be "really, really crazy!"
"She's going to be doing a lot. We're going to see her going on her internship in New York City. How many 16-year-olds do you know [who] go and get an apartment in New York and decide to intern at a law firm?" she gushed.
Clearly, Ace and Riley are both thriving — just like their mom!
