Kandi Burruss Announces She's Giving Away $50,000 Scholarships for Students from Single-Parent Homes

Her nonprofit Kandi Cares is offering a big educational boost for a few deserving students.

Kandi Burruss does a lot of community-based philanthropic work through her nonprofit foundation Kandi Cares. Recently, Kandi Cares surprised 10 expectant mothers with baby showers and presents for baby's first holiday and hosted a back-to-school drive focused on children and single mothers. Now, Kandi has announced on Instagram that she'll give away several $50,000 scholarships to high school and college students who live in single-parent households.

She revealed, "This is something that I’ve wanted to do for a long time & I’m looking forward to helping some people accomplish their goals!"

Applications are due by December 11.
