Kandi Burruss Opens Up About Dating Again

Kandi Burruss recently opened up to Us Weekly about her return to dating. And while everyone's wondering when co-star Kim Zolciak will be sporting a sparkly stunner on her ring finger, Kandi says she's in no rush to do the same.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star — who's been seeing someone — coyly tells Us Weekly, "It's not an official relationship." Kandi doesn't go on to reveal Mr. Mystery Man's identity, but does confess her guy is "not at all" famous. And probably not a fan of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, either. "It's always weird meeting people because they always feel like they know me or know who I am," Kandi says. "I want to be able to meet somebody on a clean slate."

Jumping back into the dating sphere hasn't been an easy transition for the "I Just Know" singer, whose fiancé A.J. Jewell unexpectedly passed away in 2009, shortly after they ended their engagement. "Well, we had broken up a few months before his passing, and he and I both were dating other people," she explains. "After he passed, I stopped hanging out with the one person I was seeing. I really haven't been dating. I probably went out with two people since."

Thankfully, throwing herself into her new album, Kandi Koated, proved to be a therapeutic process. "This album isn't just about my relationship with him -- it's about finding love, having love, losing love, and getting it back again."
