Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker Are Preparing to Send Riley off to College

The Real Housewives of Atlanta daughter is heading to NYU for her first semester.

It’s time for an entirely new chapter for Kandi Burruss’s oldest child, Riley! The Real Housewives of Atlanta daughter is college-bound, and Kandi and her husband, Todd Tucker, are sending her off in style.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Peacock and the Bravo App.

In an August 16 Instagram post, Todd shared a photo of him and 4-year-old son, Ace Wells Tucker, celebrating Riley at the dinner table. In the photo, Ace is playing with a festive noisemaker, and if you look closely, you’ll see some New York University heart-shaped balloons in the background. “Turning up at @rileyburruss bday/going away dinner,” Todd captioned the adorable post.

As fun as the party supplies in Todd’s photo were, it looks like he left out the best part of the celebration: some impressive cookies with each of the family members’ faces on them! Riley’s send-off included tons of college-themed cookies, including some shaped like diplomas, graduation caps, and the NYU logo.

The Burruss family has been preparing for Riley’s move for a while now, and it seems as though they’re having a lot of fun doing it. While they were packing up, Kandi shared a hilarious video of Riley teasing her for having a different voice when she thinks she’s being filmed. “Why is @rileyburruss making fun of me? She says I have a ‘TV voice’ and a regular voice...Do I?” wrote Kandi, adding, “Getting ready to drop her off at college!”

Riley isn’t the only one of Kandi’s kids getting ready for the new school year! Ace had his very first day of school on August 16, and although it was virtual, he still put together a pretty impressive first day outfit, and meditated before signing on.

“My baby’s first day of school! He got fully dressed for online classes,” wrote Kandi. “The day starts off peaceful and then the kids go crazy after sitting in front of that computer.”
