*NSYNC has recorded quite the collection of hits during their tenure on the charts. From the moment they came onto the scene in the '90s, the fivesome released instant classics that included "Bye Bye Bye," "Girlfriend," and "I Want You Back" — to name a few. But, there's still one song that holds a special place in band member Lance Bass' heart — and it happens to have been written by The Real Housewives of Atlanta songwriter, Kandi Burruss.
“'It Makes Me Ill,' which was written by Kandi. It's my all-time favorite song," Lance shared on Watch What Happens Live on Monday.
That song was recorded for the band's sophomore album, No Strings Attached (which is a throwback from 2000!). When The Daily Dish spoke to Kandi earlier this year, she opened up about working on that particular song with the group. "I have another picture of the same picture with all of us shooting birds at the camera, but I didn't think that was good for their image at this point so I didn't post that one," Kandi shared about the below photo. "We were young. We were having fun in the studio. I had wrote the song 'It Makes Me Ill' for them on their No Strings Attached album and She'kspeare was the producer, and we just had a good time. They were super talented. They were really silly in the studio too, so you see Chris [Kirkpatrick] was acting crazy in the picture. It was really fun working with them. I really enjoyed it and I'm glad I had the opportunity. It's so funny to see where we started and where we are now."
