Karent Sierra Talks New 'Real Housewives of Miami' Season

Brace yourselves, there's a hurricane coming.

By Lauren Metz

The premiere of The Real Housewives of Miami is just days away, and newcomer Karent Sierra hints that gale-force winds are about to sweep South Beach.

“I think all these women have something to bring to the table,” she tells The New York Post about the show’s cast, which includes returning ‘Wives Lea Black, Adriana de Moura, and Marysol Patton, in addition to Karent, Lisa Hochstein, Joanna Krupa, and Ana Quincoces. "[They are] new, strong-willed women that have their own personalities. They are energetic and they speak their minds."

How much…and how loudly? Karent puts it this way: "Thank God, we are not living like Big Brother because when you have these seven vivacious, strong-willed women, there will always be some type of confrontation."

For her part, Karent, a NYC-born beauty queen and actress turned celebrity dentist, considers herself to be the Bethenny Frankel of this mix. “I am a person that has a lot of dreams and a lot of goals. But I am too conservative, and dare I say level headed, to say ‘Let me take off to Hollywood, become a waitress for 10 years and see if I get discovered.’”

See how well Karent keeps that level headed mentality when The Real Housewives of Miami returns on Sept. 13 at 9/8c.
