Have the Bravo stars competing in Season 2 of Peacock's The Traitors been more aligned than audiences think? In the latest episode of Peacock's official The Traitors after show, The Traitors: Postmortem, the Season 2 stars sat down to discuss the latest challenges and interpersonal drama.

While Phaedra Parks (Married to Medicine) — the only remaining OG Traitor — and Parvati Shallow (Survivor) lamented losing out on adding Peter Weber (The Bachelor) to their team, season newcomer Kate Chastain (Below Deck) was more focused on the "Sacrificial" ceremony that replaced this week's Roundtable.

During the episode, we saw host Alan Cumming lead the players into the dark, foreboding woods that surround his castle in the Scottish Highlands. Once there, several players got to take a firey torch and choose a fellow player to "protect" from the night's coming Sacrifice. Once it was her turn, Shereé Whitfield (The Real Housewives of Atlanta) chose to protect her former Housewives co-star Phaedra.

"I would say the most shocking moment of this sacrifice was when Shereé picked Phaedra," Kate said in Episode 7's Postmortem episode. "I don’t know why she did that and, frankly, I’m thinking, 'Girl, don’t be so obvious with the Bravo girl alliance. You’re making it really obvious, Shereé, what are you doing?' And then I start thinking maybe they’ve got a secret alliance within the alliance. Not quite sure what’s going on there."

With Kate having only just arrived on the scene as a surprise entry, she's still finding her footing in the season. But she's not a total newbie: Kate competed in The Traitors Season 1, so she's already got a pretty good grasp on how this game works.

And she's not alone in seeing some sort of Bravoleb alliance. Larsa Pippen (The Real Housewives of Miami) was previously seen as a ringleader of sorts among Season 2's Bravo women, specifically the Housewives. In fact, it got her "Banished" in Episode 4.

Why did Shereé choose to protect Phaedra in The Traitors?

"I picked Phaedra because I don’t feel like people should be targeting people because of the show that we’re on. I believe that she’s Faithful,” Shereé said during the episode.

Shereé's choice to protect Phaedra from the Sacrifice left the Married to Medicine star in tears. When host Alan Cumming asked a distraught Phaedra how she was doing, she could barely respond, managing to tell him she was “emotional" as she wiped at her eyes.

"I think that after the sacrifice, alliances that once existed are now shattered," Kate said. "It can change that quickly from day to day when playing Traitors."

New episodes of The Traitors Season 2 premiere every Thursday. Episodes are available to stream on Peacock alongside The Traitors: Postmortem after show.
