Kate Chastain Is Sharing All Her Feelings About Below Deck Sailing Yacht
The Below Deck alum is keeping it 100, as always.
Although Kate Chastain is moving on from her chief stew days on Below Deck, that didn't stop the her from taking a look at the Below Deck Sailing Yacht cast. The Below Deck alum assessed some of the drama and relationships between the new crew, and she had some strong feelings to share about them.
She watched the friction grow between the chief stew, Jenna MacGillivray, and the second stewardess, Madison Stalker and even saw their sit-down discussion with Captain Glenn Shephard. She formed her first impressions of the crew pretty quickly and in true Kate fashion, she kept it real.
Kate shared that she sympathized with Madison, who was struggling on the show. In the video above, Kate says, "Before I was a chief stew, I thought, 'Oh my gosh, that job is so easy. I could do such a better job.' And then, I became a chief stew and there were so many things that I didn't know had to be done."
She adds, "I was a horrible first chief stew. So bad I even wrote my first chief stew an email of complete mea culpa, like, 'I am so sorry! This is way harder than I thought.'"
Kate also shared her first impression of Captain Glenn, who was trying his best to mediate the situation between Jenna and Madison and find a solution. In the video below, Kate explains, "Captain Glenn is fair and sweet — and firm. Looks like he works out," adding, "It's because he's Canadian. Canadians are nice."
Find out what else Kate had to say about the crew and their heated conversation in the video below!
