Katie Maloney just offered a glimpse at who she’s been hanging out with lately. In fact, the Vanderpump Rules cast member revealed as much in a precious social media post. Find out who it is below!
Katie Maloney shows love to the “boy” in her life
(SPOILER ALERT!) That lucky guy is Katie’s dog, Gordo VonFriendenheimer! In August, Katie took to her Instagram Stories to share a selfie with her furry BFF. The photo showed Katie cuddling the dog on her green couch as they spent some quality time in her living room.
“My boy,” Katie wrote in her Story. While Katie and Gordo were enjoying each other’s company, it seemed as though another furry friend wasn’t too fond of their sweet moment. And who might that be, you ask?
Well, it was none other than Katie’s other pup, Butter, and the dog mom just so happened to catch the awkward situation on camera. “Always just staring,” Katie wrote about the snow-white bichon in another Instagram Story. Judging by the snapshot, Butter wasn’t a fan of being iced out from the small bonding moment, as his fuzzy face looked disgruntled.

Katie isn’t the only person who has made endless memories with Butter and Gordo, as she shares the pups with her ex-husband, Tom Schwartz. Despite everything the former couple has been through, they have maintained a healthy co-parenting relationship with their dogs.
Back in March, Katie revealed that she and Tom are in contact “just about the dogs” during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
As Bravo fans may recall, Katie and Tom decided to “split custody” of Butter and Gordo after their separation. Katie shared details about the arrangement in May 2022 during an episode of Dear Media’s Relationsh-t with Kamie Crawford podcast, via E! News, saying, “We have some of the same group of friends, and we have dogs that we’re gonna split custody of… [Tom]’s family to me, and I’m always going to love him, so our friendship is very important to both of us.”
In June 2022, Tom gave an update on his and Katie’s custody agreement by sharing a cute photo of the pooches on his Instagram Stories, writing, “Children of divorce.”
