Kerry Titheradge Isn't Pleased with Nick Tatlock's First Lunch: "Are You Kidding Me?"
The Below Deck captain already has some concerns with St.David's new chef following Anthony Iracane's firing.
Following the “heartbreaking” departure of Anthony Iracane on Below Deck Season 11, the St. David crew welcomed their newest yacht mate, Chef Nick Tatlock, with open arms.
Unfortunately for the new Below Deck chef, Captain Kerry Titheradge isn't exactly impressed with his first lunch for the most recent charter guests.
Captain Kerry Titheradge's Reaction to Chef Nick Tatlock's First Lunch
When Kerry first met Nick on Season 11, Episode 12, which aired on April 22, he explained that he had to let the former chef go since he "wasn’t reading the preference sheets properly."
However, the new chef ran into a similar issue while making his first lunch for the charter guests on Episode 13, which aired on April 29.

"It's not wow-ing me," chief stew Fraser Olender pointed out to Kerry while preparing to serve the guests a few appetizers, including a bowl of sweet potato fries. While Nick did prepare the guests' (very interesting) request of octopus nachos, he skimped on another request: making the entire lunch a "seafood spread."
"It's supposed to be a seafood spread," Fraser reiterated to the captain, who looked upon the dishes, which also included lamb chops, with discontent.
The chef then entered the galley to speak to the chef about the mishap. "Do you have any more seafood coming up?" he asked the chef, reminding him it was "in the preference sheet for today's lunch."
After the pair look over the preference sheet again, the chef quickly got back to work to make more seafood dishes for the guests. Unfortunately, Kerry was already not pleased.
"Here we go again," he lamented in an interview confessional. "I was very clear to Nick when I met him to read the preference sheet. How hard can it be? It says, 'seafood lunch.' He only has one seafood item. Are you kidding me?"
Luckily, Nick saved the lunch, preparing some seared scallops to add to the menu.
"Good recovery, mate!" Kerry exclaimed after Fraser took the last dish up to the guests, who gushed about how delicious the meal was.

Meet Nick, the new chef on Season 11 of Below Deck replacing Anthony Iracane
After Kerry hired Nick to cook meals aboard St. David, we got to learn a little more about the chef who revealed in a confessional interview he had been in the business for "22 years."
Nick also shared that he was 40 years old, adding that “yachting is something that keeps [him] youthful.”
