Who is the new chef on Below Deck?
In addition to St.David having a temporary new look, there will also be a new yachtie on board: Chef Nick, who joins the crew after Anthony Iracane's “heartbreaking” departure.
During a confessional interview in another preview clip for next week's episode, Nick opens up about his work experience and personality, saying, “I’ve been a chef for 22 years. I think I lost my mind a long time ago. Maybe, I talk to myself too much, I have a few little ticks and go a little bit loopy sometimes, but I’m harmless crazy. You know, I’m not about to murder anyone.”
After adjusting to St. David, Nick goes to the bridge to meet Captain Kerry Titheradge. Upon meeting, the captain explains what he was expecting of the chef while aboard.
“I had to let the last guy go… He wasn’t reading the preference sheets properly,” Kerry told Nick. “I’ve seen you been on some big boats, so I’m not here to teach you how to cook."
