Kyle Richards Reflects on the End of Her Friendship with Lisa Vanderpump
The RHOBH mom shares if there was anything that could have been done differently that would have saved their friendship during Season 9.
During Season 9 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, in the midst of all that drama about a puppy, viewers watched the demise of a years-long friendship between Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards. When Kyle stopped by Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen this week, one caller wanted to know if she thinks things could have played out differently had she stayed out of the puppy drama.
"Yes, I do [think we'd still be friends]," she shared with the fan, before explaining why she did end up in the middle of Puppygate — and their friendship later ended, in the clip above.
Kyle spoke more on her falling out with LVP during the The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 9 After Show, revealing, "If Lisa were to all of a sudden show up, of course at first we'd be a little bit taken aback but everybody wants to move forward so much that we'll work through this."
For LVP's part, she decided to sit out the Season 9 reunion and has since confirmed she will not return for RHOBH next season. In several interviews she spoke on the decision, telling Us Weekly, “I made the decision to leave. It was a very difficult year for me, personally and professionally. I had wonderful things happen this year, opening up and TomTom and the cocktail garden in Vegas. The Housewives, it’s just, it’s emotionally too difficult to deal with.”
