Lala Kent Shares an Update on Her Pregnancy

After she announced her pregnancy, Lala took to her Instagram Stories to offer an update on how she's been doing.

Lala Kent Previously Opened Up About Using IUI

During a chat with Cosmopolitan in January 2024, Lala revealed that she was planning on expanding her family through intrauterine insemination.

"I’ve had friends who had gone the IUI route but were having trouble getting pregnant. It was the next step they would take before doing IVF (in vitro fertilization). They were all in regular, normal — I call them cookie-cutter — relationships. And when I had my life go in a very different direction, I knew I wanted more kids," she told the outlet, confirming that she had already found a sperm donor. "It was such a strange thing that was happening because everyone would tell me, 'You’re going to find somebody.' And I got to thinking, 'Why does my wanting more children need to involve another person?' I think if there’s a will, there’s a way. I knew a donor was an option, and I knew IUI was an option."

Later on in the interview, Lala noted that she was planning on doing IVF or adoption if she was unable to get pregnant from IUI.

Who Is Lala Kent Dating Now?

The Vanderpump Rules cast member is not publicly in a relationship, and she has opened up about being single.

She told Cosmopolitan that she wanted to share her IUI journey because she wanted to set an example for women who are waiting for "the one" in order to begin their parenthood journeys.

"I felt this need to start talking about it because there are women out in the world who sit there and wait for a man to come into the picture and are just yearning for children even though there is another way to get pregnant," she said. "If you want children and are only waiting for 'that person' to come into your life, let’s talk about a different route that we can take."

She continued, "It’s 2024! There are many ways to have a baby, and you don’t need a man to do it."
