Lala Kent and Randall Emmett Share Their Most Intimate Moments Leading Up to Their Daughter's Birth

In the weeks since Vanderpump Rules cast member Lala Kent welcomed her first child, daughter Ocean Kent Emmett, she has been adjusting to motherhood. And over the weekend, she posted a grooming ritual she has yet to get used to. "The scariest part of motherhood," she posted on Instagram, along with a photo of herself clipping her little baby's nails.

How to Watch

It was a relatable moment for many in the comments, including Shahs of Sunset cast member Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi (who welcomed her son, Elijah, last April), who commented, I couldn't do it until recently, I would just ask the nanny to do it lol. I have never been so scared in my life to do something."

Looking for more cute pics of Ocean? No problem! Lala recently shared a photo of Ocean a couple weeks after she was born dressed up in a little mermaid costume. "My little water baby, at 2 weeks old," she wrote. GG also had some commentary to add on this photo, writing, "Stop it!!! She is just simply the best catch of the sea indeed!"

Proud dad Randall Emmett also shared a photo of Lala breastfeeding on Instagram. The caption sums it all up: "The queen and the princess."

Previously, Lala opened up about breastfeeding in an emotional post on Instagram: “I posted this on my story, but feel like it deserves a little more than 24 hours. My face tells you how much life has changed. I also think it is important to say this: so many people asked me if I was going to breastfeed. I thought this was a strange question because it’s not that simple. I know many women who struggled—whether the baby didn’t latch, milk wasn’t coming in, or it just wasn’t right for them. I was never married to the idea of breastfeeding because I didn’t want to feel disappointment or shame. That being said, I’m grateful my boobies are producing, but I know my baby is bonded to me regardless of what kind of nipple is in her mouth.”

Oh, and here's a video of Ocean, as well as a photo of the baby bonding with her dad.

And ICYMI, last week it was confirmed that Lala will be back for Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules with filming beginning this month. But that's not all! This week, the new mom releases her memoir, Give Them Lala, which you can read about here.
