Lauren Manzo Says Yes to Her Wedding Dress
Mom Caroline was on-hand as Lauren picked out her Vera Wang dress.
There's one very important thing crossed off of Lauren Manzo's wedding checklist: her wedding dress. The star of the upcoming Manzo'd with Children went to Manhattan's Vera Wang Bridal House on Monday with mom Caroline Manzo and her two matrons of honors to try on gowns, and the outing was a success.
"My little girl @laurenmanzo" said yes to the dress!" Caroline revealed on Instagram, along with a photo of Lauren and her two friends sipping champagne at the shop.
Lauren also posted a photo thanking her bridesmaids Candice Laurita and Laura Edria for going with her to buy the gown. "It meant the world to me that you both did whatever you could to be there," she captioned a smiley photo of the three of them in front of the boutique.
No word yet on whether the dress she chose is "snow white" or whether she will be sticking to an all-white color scheme for her bridal party, as she had previously planned. But the bride-to-be has been working hard to shed pounds for the wedding and for dress shopping in particular, undergoing a lap band surgery, breast reduction, and a lot of good old-fashioned diet and exercise to achieve her goals. "[The weight loss] makes things like dress shopping so much fun. I know I can wear any style I want!" she said previously.
Lauren and fiancé Vito Scalia are set to get married next year, with the reception to take place at family catering hall The Brownstone.
