Why Lauren Manzo and Vito Scalia Are Getting a Divorce

The latest from Lauren comes after she confirmed that she and Vito planned to get a divorce in a video shared to Instagram on Oct. 24.

Speaking to her followers in the video, she said, "By now you guys have seen the news that has broken," she said. "[I] just wanted to let you guys know we're all good."

As for why Lauren and Vito are going their separate ways, she noted, "This has been done for a very long time."

"The last part of the process was filing. We were on the same page," Lauren continued. "This is something that we did together. Vito and I love and respect each other, and we continue to move forward as a family. All that matters to us is that our daughter is happy and healthy. Her privacy is important to us."

As fans may recall, Lauren and Vito started dating in 2009 and got engaged in November 2013. They said "I do" in 2015, and their wedding eventually aired on Manzo'd with Children Season 2. In February 2017, they welcomed their daughter Markie (short for Marchesa).
