Lauren Manzo Shares an Update on Her Daughter Markie Amid Her Divorce from Vito Scalia

It's been a little less than a month since Lauren Manzo announced that she and her husband, Vito Scalia, are getting a divorce after eight years of marriage. Now, The Real Housewives of New Jersey and Manzo'd with Children daughter is sharing an update on what her life looks like today.

Lauren Manzo's Update on Daughter Markie Amid Her and Vito Scalia's Divorce
Lauren, who's daughter to Caroline Manzo, took to her Instagram Stories on Monday, Nov. 20 to share side-by-side videos of her and Markie dancing to the TikTok-famous song "Bad Hair Day."
Captioned "8 months later with my girl," the videos showed the mother-daughter duo grooving alongside each other, both with big smiles on their faces.
Lauren shared an additional Instagram Story that same day, but this time, she tagged her mom. That photo featured two champagne flutes and a plate of fries.
Why Lauren Manzo and Vito Scalia Are Getting a Divorce
The latest from Lauren comes after she confirmed that she and Vito planned to get a divorce in a video shared to Instagram on Oct. 24.
Speaking to her followers in the video, she said, "By now you guys have seen the news that has broken," she said. "[I] just wanted to let you guys know we're all good."
As for why Lauren and Vito are going their separate ways, she noted, "This has been done for a very long time."
"The last part of the process was filing. We were on the same page," Lauren continued. "This is something that we did together. Vito and I love and respect each other, and we continue to move forward as a family. All that matters to us is that our daughter is happy and healthy. Her privacy is important to us."
What's more, "We will always be a family," Lauren added before concluding the video by noting, "We appreciate you guys and hope you have a great day."
As fans may recall, Lauren and Vito started dating in 2009 and got engaged in November 2013. They said "I do" in 2015, and their wedding eventually aired on Manzo'd with Children Season 2. In February 2017, they welcomed their daughter Markie (short for Marchesa).
