Lindsay Hubbard Opens Up About the Last Time She Had Alcohol
The Summer House cast member opens up about drinking while dating Carl Radke, who is sober.
Lindsay Hubbard is opening up about the recent changes she has made in her life. The Summer House cast member revealed details about her newfound decision to put a pause on drinking, as well as shared updates on her relationship with Carl Radke, during her January 31 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen alongside fellow Summer House roomie, Danielle Olivera.
When it came to Lindsay's romance with Carl, host Andy Cohen wasted no time getting Lindsay to spill all about the couple's relationship. Andy brought up how Lindsay recently purchased a car with Carl, then asked if "the biggest commitment" she has had since her relationship with Summer House alum Everett Weston was her current one with Carl. "Yes," Lindsay answered, later going on to reveal that it was during their Labor Day party that she and Carl had rekindled their romance (the pair previously tried dating in Season 4).
Andy went on to ask Lindsay how Carl's sobriety journey, which he had also opened up about previously as well as during his January 17 appearance on WWHL, had helped the couple's relationship. "I think he’s more clear-minded," she replied, going on to add, "I think he’s more patient, he’s more willing to have tougher conversations, and deal with conflict a little bit better.”
Lindsay then shared how she hadn't had alcohol over the last two months following Andy's inquiry about whether her drinking "adversely" affected the couple's relationship. “I think in the past it might have. I haven’t had alcohol in the last two months,” Lindsay said, to which Andy replied, "Really? Just in solidarity with him?"
"Yeah," Lindsay answered, going on to share that her Clubhouse beverage was none other than The Real Housewives of New York City's Luann de Lesseps faux rosé wine, Fosé Rosé.
Lindsay also addressed whether she still had romantic feelings for Carl in the past, following their prior decision to remain friends, which you can find out more about in the clip, above.
Lindsay wasn't the only one gushing about the Summer House couple's relationship. Carl also opened up about how much love he has for Lindsay during his January 17 appearance on WWHL, telling Andy, "We're really happy. She's my best friend, she's got my back, and we respect each other, which I think is huge for a relationship."
