Lindsay Hubbard Reveals What Happened to the Engagement Ring She Got from Carl Radke
The Summer House cast member said her ex-fiancé "demanded" the ring back. But did she oblige?
Lindsay Hubbard has shared more details about her shocking split from Carl Radke.
Roughly six months after confirming the breakup, the Summer House cast member shared a surprising update on her engagement ring — well, her former engagement ring. The East Coast native showed off the 4.02-carat diamond ring in August of 2022, shortly after Carl popped the question in the Hamptons. Lindsay gushed over the piece in an exclusive interview with People magazine, saying it was designed by New York-based jeweler Nicole Rose.
“This is the most incredible thing I have ever laid eyes on, except Carl,” Lindsay said about the impressive rock. “I don’t think I slept at all last night, I think I just stared at this ring. It’s gorgeous. He really crushed it, it could not have been more perfect.”

Lindsay Hubbard says Carl Radke "demanded" her engagement ring back
In the weeks following her and Carl's 2023 breakup, Lindsay told Us Weekly she had given the ring to her jeweler and had planned to sell it: “I need to make up for all the lost money on the wedding,” she told the outlet.
So, did Lindsay follow through with her plan? Nope. She ultimately returned the ring to Carl after he “demanded it back.” The former PR specialist explained the situation during her March 7 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, revealing she was legally obligated to give it up.
“There’s law, New York law, and then there’s etiquette,” she began. “I think in New York, there’s a law with engagement rings that says it’s a contingency gift — contingent upon there being a wedding and a marriage. And if there is no wedding or marriage, then the gift belongs to the giver. So, legally, the ring belongs to him.”
She continued: “I did take it off pretty much immediately, gave it to my jeweler for safekeeping, and she gave it back to [Carl] when he emailed me and demanded it back.”
Lindsay Hubbard is "having fun" while living the single life
Elsewhere in the WWHL episode, Lindsay spoke about her new real estate venture and re-entering the dating scene.
“Anyone serious?” Andy asked about Lindsay’s romantic life.
“I’m having fun,” she replied. “I’m dating, I’m having fun. I’m really busy. I just bought a house in Nashville.”
“Are you dating someone in Nashville?” Andy asked.
“I am not dating anyone specific,” Lindsay said with a smile.
Lindsay Hubbard insists she's done dating "boys on Bravo"
Although she’s keeping details of her dating life under wraps, Lindsay recently revealed she will never date another Bravolebrity — “unless it’s a girl.”
“I’m done with these boys on Bravo…,” she said Us Weekly’s Happy Hour: Sip or Spill. “Listen, I am looking at men in other industries. They can be in the entertainment industry...just maybe not reality TV.”
