Lisa Reveals She Almost Changed Tom Tom's Name Amid the "Backlash" of Sandoval's Affair
Lisa Vanderpump opens up about rebranding the bar she owns with Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz.
Lisa Vanderpump almost made a drastic change to Tom Tom in the aftermath of Tom Sandoval's affair.
On Part 1 of the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 reunion, Andy Cohen revisited a moment from Episode 7 in which Sandoval said he felt "a little weird" about Lisa making Tom Tom "more dining-oriented" without consulting him or Schwartz, who are junior partners in the business. As it turns out, Lisa also had a much bigger transformation in mind.
"You moved some of the elements of Pump over to Tom Tom," Andy said to Lisa. "Why didn't you consult the guys?"
Lisa explained that at the time, they were "in the middle of such a sh-tshow with the backlash on Tom Tom." It was so bad, Lisa shared, "We were actually talking about changing the name of the whole place."
Previously, on Episode 7, Lisa offered a different explanation for not telling Schwartz and Sandoval about bringing brunch service to Tom Tom: "I don't think we would ever consult a 2.5% partner."

Details on Tom Tom's new brunch service
On Season 11, Episode 12 which aired on April 16, Schwartz explained how excited he was to bring brunch to Tom Tom after Pump closed.
"Tom Tom brunch ... is five years in the making," Schwartz said. "It's not exactly how I envisioned it with Pump on the other side, but you know what? This is a win. We got a great turnout. You know, I think this is going to be one of our biggest selling points moving forward."
Lisa was also ecstatic, sharing in the same episode, "Tom Tom will never be Pump, and nor would we want it to be. It's got a very different aesthetic ... But there's no reason we can't develop the restaurant part and add brunch to the menu. We want to keep that spirit [of Pump] alive."
Tom Schwartz gives an update on Tom Tom
Despite some challenging times for the business following Sandoval and Ariana Madix's split, Schwartz recently shared some good news about Tom Tom in an interview with The Daily Dish.
"Tom Tom’s been thriving," he said, adding that the bar is "always crushing it."
