The Results of Lisa Vanderpump's Lie Detector Test Are...

Was The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills restaurateur telling the truth about not leaking the Radar Online story?

By Laura Rosenfeld

Lisa Vanderpump sat down to take a lie detector test at the end of last week's episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, seemingly in an effort to clear her name following accusations that she leaked the story about Dorit Kemsley's dog to Radar Online. But then the dreaded words "to be continued" appeared across the screen before we could find out the results.

How to Watch

Luckily, we didn't have to wait too long to learn how things shook out with Lisa's lie detector test. Tuesday night's episode of RHOBH picked up right where we left off with Lisa sitting down with a polygraph examiner in the hopes of proving her innocence. "I know that I'm 1,000 percent not guilty," Lisa said in an interview during the episode. "Otherwise, why would I volunteer for it? I'm not as stupid as I look."

The polygraph examiner explained that the lie detector test would "be scored as if it was a serious legal or criminal test using federal guidelines."

"Well, I'm neutral, but I've been testing over 30 years," he said in the episode. "If she's lying, I'm gonna catch it in a second. If she's telling the truth, she's gonna pass."

Lisa was asked several questions during the lie detector test, which were written by the Vanderpump Dog Foundation's Executive Director John Sessa, including if she ever gave a story to Radar Online about Dorit and her dog or if she knew who gave the story to Radar Online. Lisa answered "no" to both of those questions.

The polygraph examiner then revealed the results of the lie detector test: "I've been testing over 30 years. I've tested over 10,000 people. The scoring program agrees with me. It says there is zero chance you are lying on any of the questions of importance."

A huge grin came over Lisa's face as she high-fived John, who accompanied her to the test. You can watch Lisa open up more about the lie detector test in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 9 After Show, above.

News travels fast in the 90210, and word got back to Kyle Richards that Lisa had taken a lie detector test. When she shared this with Dorit, Lisa Rinna, and Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave while they were all in Hawaii for Camille Grammer's wedding, all of their jaws immediately dropped. "She's trying to focus on something that she can control like that instead of the actual problem, which is the initial thing she did with [Dorit], the Vanderpump Dogs thing, because that's the betrayal," Kyle said during the episode.

The ladies doubted the accuracy of Lisa's results and the legitimacy of lie detector results in general. "If Lisa were to hand me that piece of paper that said, 'Lisa passed with flying colors,' do you think this is gonna change everyone's opinion?" Kyle said in an interview on RHOBH.

There's lots more drama on the way in the next episode of RHOBH on Tuesday at 9/8c. Check out a preview, below.
