We Finally Know Who Ordered and Wrote the Questions for Lisa Vanderpump's Lie Detector Test

Lisa Vanderpump revealed the origins of her lie detector test on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

By Laura Rosenfeld

Lisa Vanderpump's lie detector test seemed to answer some questions surrounding that story that was leaked to Radar Online — namely, that the test found she was telling the truth about not leaking the story and that she didn't know who did.

How to Watch

However, this polygraph test also raised other questions among The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ladies, including who ordered the test and who wrote the questions. Kyle Richards expressed as much on Twitter.

Lisa provided some more insight into the origins of the lie detector test during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 9 After Show, which you can check out, above. She explained that John Sessa, the executive director of the Vanderpump Dog Foundation, suggested she take the test and also wrote the questions.

"Well, I think you actually have to formulate the question because the guy doing the test doesn't watch Real Housewives or didn't know what the hell we were talking about," Lisa said. "And he probably thought when he normally works for the FBI and the police force that it was gonna be something a little bit [more] interesting than, 'Did you give a story to Radar Online?'"

Lisa said that she wasn't afraid to take the test. "I don't think anybody would volunteer for a lie detector test if they were one iota guilty, so I was happy to say yes, you know?" she shared. "It seemed kind of intriguing."

Lisa added that she felt "absolutely secure with my innocence" while taking the test.

Unfortunately for Lisa, the results of the lie detector test didn't appear to do much to change how her fellow Beverly Hills Housewives viewed her alleged role in Puppy-Gate. Kyle, Dorit Kemsley, Lisa Rinna, and Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave all cast doubt on the test results.

"She's trying to focus on something that she can control like that instead of the actual problem, which is the initial thing she did with [Dorit], the Vanderpump Dogs thing, because that's the betrayal," Kyle said on RHOBH.

Find out who else Lisa thinks should take a lie detector test among the 90210 squad in the clip, above. See what's coming up on RHOBH Tuesday at 9/8c, below.
