Who Is Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi Voting for This Election Season?
The Jersey girl shows some love for the ladies of #RHOBH in this year's Real Housewives Awards.
With The Real Housewives Awards: Decision 2016 in full swing, we've asked celebrities and pop culture icons to share why they love our hit franchise. This week, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, on which New Jersey 'Wife has recently won her heart and which of the West Coast ladies should take home the coveted presidential win.
There's no doubt that Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is an East Coast girl all the way. But when it comes to voting for President this Real Housewives Awards election season, she is all about a certain uber-sophisticated lady that resides all the way across the country in the 90210. That's why Nicole is placing her vote for Lisa Vanderpump when it comes to finding our First Lady in the 2016 Real Housewives Awards.
Why? "She knows how to run her own s***. She knows a lot," the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills superfan told The Daily Dish. "I feel like she's definitely smart in knowing s***, especially her drama. She knows how to deal with it in a classy way. So I would say Lisa."
As a reality show veteran herself, Nicole loves escaping in the drama of the Real Housewives franchise, no matter which city. "It's every one's guilty pleasure. I think everyone loves to see older women fighting with each other. It's like Jersey Shore, but older. It's kind of a guilty pleasure, but it's nice and kind of refreshing to see women that are married and have kids and there's still drama. It's not all peaches when you grow up and have a family. There's still drama and they keep it real."
Still, the former Jersey Shore star pledges her allegiance to her pals in The Real Housewives of New Jersey. She even counts Style Ambassador nominee Melissa Gorga as one of her pals. "She knew a lot of people that I knew in town and she's good friends with my neighbor," Nicole recalled. "So we just ended up hooking up. You know if you live in Jersey, everyone knows everyone. So it was just inevitable that we were to meet."
Nicole is quick to explain why people from outside the Garden State seem so interested in the lives of those who live there. "We're different in the sense that you know we're very outspoken," she said. "There's hard accents in there. We're douchey. It's a good time to watch."
And you can bet there's one local who Nicole has really enjoyed watching recently. She touts fellow Presidential nominee Teresa Guidice as one of her current favorites in the RHONJ crew. "At this point, right now, I would say Teresa," she said. "She wasn't always my fav[orite], but just seeing her turn around from getting out jail and opening up her mind to different things, being more optimistic — I'm loving the way she is right now. I mean, I'm loving her personality right now. I've always loved her, but right now she is pretty awesome."
Teresa is also up for Speaker of the Housewives. Check out who she's up against in that category, below.
