Lisa Vanderpump is opening up more about her life following her older brother's passing last year, showing support to anyone else out there who might also be dealing with the death of a loved one. She recently told fans on Twitter that grief "affects us all differently."

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Peacock and the Bravo App.

Lisa lost her brother, Mark Vanderpump, in April 2018 after he died by suicide at the age of 59. Her dealing with that loss has been documented on the current seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as well as Vanderpump Rules. On Twitter, she added her brother's birthday would have been on April 28 and that following his death last year, it took quite some time for her to begin to recover. "It was a good month before I went out and not until Xmas could I really laugh again."

She has previously shared with The Daily Dish that she began taking antidepressants and seeing a therapist following her brother's death last year. And she made other big changes as well, including a pretty extension renovation of her kitchen in Villa Rosa (clip above).

In the wake of his passing, LVP has been spotted out with her nephews Jack and Sam Vanderpump, most recently at the opening night party of Vanderpump Cocktail Garden at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on March 30. "It was a very difficult year for me, obviously, with that tragedy, and I'm thrilled that my brother's sons are with me tonight," Lisa told The Daily Dish at the event. "I feel like I have the essence of my brother with me because as your only sibling, it's been very challenging."
