Luann de Lesseps Compares the RHONY Trip Upstate to Appearing in Court
The RHONY cabaret singer is not holding back about this group trip to her upstate vacation home.
Luann de Lesseps appeared in court this week in connection with her 2017 arrest in Florida. After being briefly taken into custody for alleged probation violations, she addressed reports she was set to return to jail following the court appearance, calling them "false" in a statement to PEOPLE.
But as it turns out, and as she shared in The Real Housewives of New York City After Show, going to court is actually a way better experience than when she invited the The Real Housewives of New York City to her upstate home in Kingston, NY. "Its been hell and I never want to f--king see them again. How's that? I think I'd rather go to court than have them up there again," she said in the clip above.
Previously, it was reported her parole was expected to end in late August, one year after she accepted a plea deal in her case. “I’m glad the judge was understanding once made aware of the evidence provided and I was then released. I am now looking forward to completing my remaining few months of probation," she added in her statement to PEOPLE following her court appearance on Thursday. "I want to put this behind me and move forward with my life.”
Her court appearance comes weeks after reports surfaced that the RHONY cabaret singer admitted to having had two mimosas after a performance in Chicago, according to TMZ and Us Weekly.
She later opened up about her sobriety in a statement to PEOPLE following the news: “I take my sobriety very seriously and like many in my situation, it is a daily struggle. I remain committed to doing whatever it takes to continue living a healthy sober lifestyle.”
