We're sending a big congrats to Mariah Carey, who is engaged to her beau James Packer. E! News reports that the Australian billionaire businessman asked the Grammy winner to marry him earlier this week in New York City. And while we're sure the proposal was all kinds of romantic, what everyone is really buzzing about is that ring — it's reportedly 35-carats and valued at $7.5 million. (If you're looking for photographic proof that it's epic, might we suggest you take a gander at the photos below, courtesy of The Daily Mail.)
This is the third marriage for both Mariah and James. She was previously married to record executive Tommy Mottola, as well as Nick Cannon, and has two kids, four-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, with the latter. As for James, he has three kids of his own, Indigo, 7, Jackson, 5, and Emmanuelle, 3 from a previous relationship. Mariah and James first met in Aspen in 2014. They went public as a couple in June 2015.
Elsewhere on the engagement front, Miley Cyrus and her former flame, Hunger Games actor Liam Hemsworth, have reportedly rekindled their romance. People reports that their engagement is back on after they split in 2013, one year after he popped the question. Adding fuel to the fire is that fact that Miley has been spotted on Instagram wearing the lovely Neil Lane ring he proposed with.
There's no denying these rings are beautiful, but there's also no doubt that rings worn by Bravolebs over the years have been equally as dazzling. So, how do those rings compare to Mariah and Miley's? Take a gander at the photos below and weigh in for yourself.
