Marissa Hermer's Family Has the Most Joyful Holiday Traditions
The #LadiesOfLondon family celebrates the holiday season in style.
Many of us may just be starting to get festive for the holiday season right about now, but the Hermer family has been in the Christmas spirit for quite some time already. "The kids are making cookies right now. We watch The Polar Express, which, of course, we watched a couple nights ago. We put the Elf on the Shelf. It's already Christmas here. Obviously, I do Thanksgiving, but the rest of London is on Christmas mode from November 1," Ladies of London matriarch Marissa Hermer gushed about her family's holiday traditions to The Daily Dish in mid-November. "We do Christmas caroling, and we take our family and friends to the Royal Albert Hall for Christmas carols. We make Christmas decorations out of cookies, so we're gonna be doing that soon. And we go ice skating as a family."
Marissa, her husband Matt Hermer, and children, Max, Jake, and Sadie, also aren't afraid to brave the cold while taking in outdoor holiday activities like ice skating at Somerset House, which Marissa was just about to go on a date night with Matt for the opening of the rink that night, and walking in Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland attraction. The Brits also get festive with Christmas crackers, which have prizes inside, such as toys and a paper crown. "It's very British. You have Christmas crackers for every meal, all the time," said Marissa, who shared that she also took part in this tradition growing up in California. "There are Minions Christmas crackers, and my kids are going to be so excited."
Marissa also recently held a little tree decorating party at Bumpkin, the restaurant she runs with her husband Matt, which she gave The Daily Dish a peek into with some exclusive photos of the fun. Marissa's Ladies of London castmate Julie Montagu attended the bash with her son Nestor, and Caroline Fleming's son Nico also got in the holiday spirit.

Clearly, no one does the holidays quite like the Ladies of London. After seeing how they let loose for New Year's Eve last season, we can't wait to see how they ring in 2017.
