Meet RHOC’s New Arrival, Heather Dubrow

Who’s she texting. . .and who's she calling "phony"?

By Kim Moreau

We're not sure if you knew, but Heather Dubrow is an actress. Sure Gretchen Rossi might not have seen her in anything (as she so gently mentioned), but the newest member of The Real Housewives of Orange County has a pretty impressive IMDB page, with pivotal roles in everything from That's Life to Jenny McCarthy's sitcom (the creatively titled, Jenny).

We had a chance to talk with Heather, Gretchen, and Tamra, and since we already knew how well Heather fit in with the other O.C. ladies (not only were they super jovial with each other as we chatted, they admitted to texting each other during our call), we decided to ask if there was a particular character the thespian has portrayed that she thought would also fit in amongst the first ladies of Bravo.

"I think probably all of them," Heather explained. "I tend to play pretty feisty girls that don't have a lot of filters which would fit in really well with this crew."

At this point Tamra interjected: "Excuse me?"

And so Heather clarified, "Tamra, I say that with love. I wasn't directing that towards you. I honestly think I tend to play characters, except a few, that are real people and are very authentically them. And one thing I said about almost ladies on this show that I was very impressed by is that they are who they are. No one makes excuses. No one pulls punches. And I appreciate that. I don't like being with people that are phony, and I didn't find that with most of this cast."

Most? Most but who?

Thankfully Tamra's nagging cough (you know how those pesky things can be) gave us a clue. "Cough Cough, Alexis."
